Scholarly publishing is an intimidating process. Rough ideas turn into proposals, which then (if accepted) leads to a long, arduous road to submitting your manuscript. This process involves journals, submission guidelines, reviewers, editorial boards, and publishers.  With assistance from the Doctoral Research Support Program (DRSP), faculty advisors, peers, and students can explore the publishing landscape, meet one-on-one with journal editors, and take advantage of opportunities to get their scholarly works successfully through the publishing process.
